Groote Post's November / December Country & Christmas Markets

As always, the terrace alongside the Groote Post Cellar will be a hive of activity, brimming with delicious and beautiful country offerings, and the visitors will be relaxing in the shade under the trees in front of Hilda’s Kitchen while tucking into their delicious eats from the market. And the market will be a perfect playground for children who love the rolling lawns, playground, horse-riding, water-balls, tractor rides and face painting, to name a few of the activities on offer.

BUT THE NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER MARKETS WILL BE EXTRA SPECIAL:
• SUNSHINE RADIO will be broadcasting ‘LIVE’ from the November Market;
• And visitors can expect ‘ALL THINGS CHRISTMAS’ at Groote Post’s December Market - with decorations and gifts and Father Christmas entertaining the children as well as festive vibes from a SUMMER CONCERT presented by local artists.

All the old favourite stalls will be back, as well as some new exciting ones. Guests can expect artisan foods including Darling gourmet produce, arts and crafts, home-ware and décor, and of course, Groote Post’s well-loved wines including their Rosé which is made exclusively for the monthly markets, and the popular craft beers from Darling Brew.

Groote Post’s award-winning restaurant, Hilda’s Kitchen, will be open as usual, but please note that booking is essential.

Although pets are most welcome – all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Visitors arriving without their dogs on a leash will be given an option to buy one from the SPCA stall or hire one at the information stall.

Entry to the Groote Post Country Market is free of charge.

Directions: Follow the R27, the West Coast Road towards Langebaan. Turn right onto the Darling Hills Road opposite Grotto Bay turnoff. After 10 km, turn right to the Groote Post cellar. Alternatively, take the R307 out of Darling towards Cape Town and turn off at the Darling Hills Road. After 7km turn left to the Groote Post Cellar.
