Did you know that Groote Post is a finalist for a Klink award for their Country Markets?

So, if you have already been to a Market, please don't forget to vote on www.winetourismsouthafrica.co.za or head out to the country for the February market and you will see why they are a finalist for this Award. Entrance is Free!

Guests can expect delectable and beautiful country offerings including artisan foods, arts and crafts, as well as home-ware and décor, and of course, Groote Post’s well-loved wines. Groote Post’s wines will be available for tasting and purchase, including the delicious Groote Post Rosé which is made exclusively for the monthly markets.

Local, of course, is always lekker in Darling with locals presenting a divine selection of gourmet produce including breads, cheese, mushrooms, charcuterie, wors, sauces, olive oils and more. And a big hit as always will be the popular craft beers from Darling Brew.

As always, the market will present a perfect playground for children who will love the rolling lawns, tractor rides, face painting, water-balls and target-shooting to name a few of the activities that will be available.

After browsing through the market and enjoying the stalls, visitors can relax in the shade under the trees while while tucking into their delicious eats from the market. This month Francois Haasbroek will be there to entertain the market goers.

Although pets are most welcome – all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Visitors arriving without their dogs on a leash will be given an option to buy one from the SPCA stall or hire one at the information stall.

Groote Post Country Markets take place on the last Sunday of every month between 10h00 and 15h00. The dates for the markets for the current season are: Sunday, 26 March and Sunday 30 April. The market is closed during winter.
